Stainless Steel Alloy SS 440C Round Bars/Rods exhibits a strong resistance to corrosion. To compare this to another grade of stainless steel, though, is the best option. The reason for this is that the alloy steel contains chromium, which is a result of the alloy's crystalline structure. The high carbon and martensitic grade of alloy that makes up stainless steel grade 440C is also very strong and has excellent resistance. Round bars and rods are developed using this method, which makes use of the alloy grade.
They also come with a variety of finish options. This comes in diameters, sizes, thicknesses, and lengths. These bars and rods are unique in the features they offer across a range of applications. The advantages are as follows: less maintenance, greater surface qualities, strict dimensional tolerances, resistance to corrosion, and better straightness. They are therefore in high demand from the chemical, building, engineering, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, maritime, boiler and pressure vessel industries, among others.
Normal working conditions are not found in these industries. They have intense chlorine conditions, high pressure, chemical media, oxidising media, and more. These give regular bars and rods a difficult time operating. Our SS 440C Round Bars/Rods, however, offer exceptional qualities that allow them to function in both typical and unusual situations. They are resistant to oxidising media, chlorine, and other harsh environments.
